rye74 Posted April 30, 2025 Posted April 30, 2025 (edited) Hi all, this is my first post. I have a question about sound in Visual Pinball. I'm using version 10.81, the latest version. Right now I am getting rom sounds in tables and no playfield sounds even though my sound settings are both set to the right audio device. If i go into the sound manager for a given table, I can toggle the sounds to play from table to back glass. When i set the sounds to back glass instead of table, I do get the sounds (ball roilling, etc,). However, if they are set to table as they should be I get no sound. It's as if I had playfield volume muted, but I don't. Am I missing something or did I encounter a bug or some other weird anomaly? My setup is very straight forward 2.0 channel stereo. I was using a Soundblaster Audigy, but switched to my onboard audio while troubleshooting but still have the same issue. Thanks for helping! Edited April 30, 2025 by rye74
Cliffy Posted April 30, 2025 Posted April 30, 2025 Same for me which is why I don't use 10.8.1 yet. It's very much a work in progress
