Cant get DOF working on my producation system (pinup popper)

Hi!

 

i only have 1 LED Strip on DOF Port 1 configured (Undercab).

 

I tested my DOF ony my Testsystem with Virtual Pinball X and 32bit Version of DOF .msi installer. And there it works fine.

Now i installed DOF (32 and 64 bit like suggested) on my cabinet. Plugin is recognized correct and active with no errors. Also the Logfile does not display an errors.

In Pinup Config i edited the config to use DOF to true.

But neither in in Pinup Frontend nor in a loaded Table the LED is working. 

 

I did already lots of troubleshooting but i cant get it work. i only noticed, that i cant register DOF COM x64. Here i get an erros with exit 100. 32bit can be registered. UAC is turned on and never has been turned off. I am using W11 x64 OS.

 

Any help is appriciated. I have no idea, what i can try else.

Answering this older post just in case someone is having this problem today:

 

1)  Make sure when you register the DOF COM dll you right mouse click and "Run As Administrator".  It needs admin rights to register the dll.

2)  Try running Popper Doctor and attempt to connect and light up your LED's.

3)  Make sure "DirectOutputComObject.dll" (both x86/x64) have the correct permissions setup.  I make sure that they have FULL CONTROL (Right mouse click on DLL and check permissions).  This allows Pinup Popper to run as Admin and load the COM dll properly.

4)  If you run Pinup Popper without admin privs and it works, then see #3.
