theelerdereek Posted April 4, 2025 Posted April 4, 2025 Hello I recently upgraded my GPU to a more powerful model (RTX 4070) & while Visual Pinball X tables now run super smooth at 120+ FPS; I’ve noticed the ball physics feel completely off. 🙃The ball seems to move faster than before, almost like it’s sliding / not interacting properly with the table elements. It’s most noticeable on older tables that used to feel more “natural.” I haven’t changed any table physics settings manually.🙂 Could this be related to uncapped framerates or changes in VSync behavior after the GPU upgrade? 😇 I know VPX relies on consistent timing to simulate real physics; so maybe the higher FPS is throwing something off. I have tried enabling & disabling frame limiting and sync options, but the behavior still seems inconsistent.🙃Checked https://vpuniverse.com/forums/forum/26-vpu-general-discussion/ guide for reference . Has anyone experienced this after upgrading their GPU or display? Are there recommended Microsoft SQL Server Training guide settings for frame limiting, refresh rate, or NVIDIA control panel tweaks to keep ball physics consistent regardless of hardware? 🙂 Would love some guidance on dialing things back to get that realistic feel again. Thank you !!🙂
