Volume settings in 'Attract mode' does not working - POPSCREEN5 Volume still on 100

OS: W11

PinupPopper: Latest release

Soundcard: Onboard Realtec

Cabinet: SSF ; all sounds are routed over the Realtec (7.1)

I've set in the Global settings under Main the Volume to 75. From testing the settings, I found out, that this is like the "Master Volume"

The volume in Attract mode ist set to 35

If the PinUp Pooper starts, the Master Volume is set to 75% => It's OK

If I start a table (PinUp Popper start VPX 10.8) , the volume of this Audio-device is on 100% => OK

In attract mode the Master Volume is at 75%, OK.

But, uncomfortable the Audoio-Device POPSCREEN5, where I can adjust the volume of all attract sounds is also still on 100. This slider works as Subschannel of the Audio, which is responsible for the PinUP Popper.

In the pic below I have reduced the channel manual by hand.

I would expected, that  this channel is set to the volume of the Attract Mode Volume to 35.  With 100 in the channel POPSCREEN5 the Attract mode is to loud. If I reduce the 'Master' volume in Main, my SSF Loudspeaker have during play  not enough power and there are to quit.

(Btw: The CheckBox "Launch Games in Attract Mode" can not activeted...; I've only recognise this one in between)

In the wiki I  haven't found any information which has help me to solve the issue.

It is my mistake?

Must I configure somethings else (which I'm not aware of it) or is this really a bug?

im not 100% sure i understand your question/issue.

On Popper startup in your example the PC sound level is set to 75.

In attract Popper doesn't change the PC sound level, it changes the all/any media player audio (vlc) sound to 35%, without changing your actual PC volume levels.

If you need more volume control look at pinvol utility for virtual pinball cabs and you can disable the Popper sound control.

Does it means that the internal soundlevel of the VLC player is affected or the Audiochannel in the mixer of the VLC player (im my example the popscreen5) ?

There is no different to hear if the attract mode volume is set to 35 75 or 100% .

If I understood this right, at minimum the Audio of the mediafiles from "Audio" and "Audio Launch" should be effected.

In my example, this is the “master” volume, which all other sub-audio devices such as “Popscreen5” and “Visual Pinball 10.8.0” follow. => This one is working :)

The subdevice “Popscreen5” is playing all sounds for the atttract mode...If I reduce this one by hand (link in the example to 35) the attract mode volume is reduced..... Over this sub device no sound is available if I start a table  (Ok I  haven't test any PUP table).

So I expexted that the attract mode volume should modify this value, isn't it?
