Maximillion Posted March 30, 2025 Posted March 30, 2025 Can anyone advise? On my menu the playfields look great, once i load a game the resolution and sharpness is horrible. One at a time i adjusted most setting in VPX editor, but outside of correcting some of the brightness and reflections to my liking along the way, i was never able to make the playfields look as good as the ones shown in the pup menu. I just read that i can set my resolution to whatever i want it to be in VPX, could this be a solution to my problem?
deadmanworking Posted March 31, 2025 Posted March 31, 2025 @Maximillion please check first which resolution you have set for the playfield in VPX video settings (list in the left side in that dialogue) Also do you have by any chance your Max Texture Dimension in the same settings dialogue set to anything below 4096?
Supergibson Posted March 31, 2025 Posted March 31, 2025 Can you post a screenshot of what you are experiencing? Maybe a shot of both the pup menu and one of the in-game that you are seeing? And a screenshot of video settings would help. Otherwise we will just be playing a guessing game.
Maximillion Posted April 1, 2025 Author Posted April 1, 2025 @deadmanworking Thanks for the reply. The res is set the same everywhere, nvida settings, display, vpx etc. The texture is set to unlimited. Thanks again for taking the time. I will get some pics up as requested by another user. Tonight I used live editor in vpx and made slight improvements in clarity but overall the screen is much better on the wheel than it is in game
Maximillion Posted April 1, 2025 Author Posted April 1, 2025 Thanks for the reply. I will be sure to get the pics you requested tomorrow
Maximillion Posted April 2, 2025 Author Posted April 2, 2025 There was really only one thing I didn't try to fix my playfield issue. In game I hit f12 and reset pov settings, I then resized the game to fit my screen. I used the original value for night/day. Exported settings and there was a huge improvement! The fonts aren't 100 percent crisp but now the wheel image and playfield image are identical, quality wise. Thanks to both of you that offered help and advise. @deadmanworking and @Supergibson
