CPSNine Posted March 17, 2025 Posted March 17, 2025 Hi, I am having an issue with the Pinup Popper Baller frontend disappearing while still running in the background. A couple of month ago I had to change the mother board in my Pin Cab, so I went and started clean with a fresh install of Windows 10 and Pinup Popper. (I was using PinballX Prior). I followed the guide on Nail Buster's Wiki and everything worked as intended. I have been using the front end and slowly adding tables since without any issues. Last week I went to add a VPW Table (Last action hero) and it froze my system solid (I had to turn it off holding the power Button). after that I started having issues with the loading of the more resource intensive tables. At the end of load, the loading animation would disappear for some 10sec, showing the Windows desktop on the playfield, and then displaying the table. Now I am having the issue, when I launch the frontend it displays for a couple of minutes and then disappears. I am back to the desktop on the 3 screens like nothing is running. however when I use the flippers the wheel shows up, I can scroll through the games and launch them but only the wheel pops up the rest is windows desktop. I can play the tables B2S, Dmd full DMD everything fine. When I quit the game the frontend still does not show videos playfield, backlass or Full DMD. My playfield, backless and DMD are set to force back (I tried to change to show or force on with no effect) In popper general settings displays are set to active and update. I tried a separate installation (pinup popper baller) on a separate disk, but I get the same issue. I am out of ideas my next step would be to reinstall Windows, unless somebody can give me another alternative. Thank you all.
