Pinsim Setup With One or No Screen?

Hello all,

So with my pinsim setup I am using 2 monitors, 1 for  playfield and the 2nd is divided into 3, FDMD, BG,and 4:3 DMD.

I would Like to only have one if possible.

How would I set up VPXVR  with 1 or no screens?

 

Would I just setup the BG and DMD on top of the playfield or maybe change PF from fullscreen to part of the screen to make room for BG and DMD?

If anyone has a guild or info I would appreciate it🍻

For a desktop setup, one would usually set the playfield in the middle, backglass on the right side and Dmd on the left side....not overlapping.

@studlygoorite Thanks, I have never done a single desktop so was not too sure how that would work, But I guess that would make sense.

I thought that might be  how it goes but I was thinking that the PF always had to have its own monitor and nothing on top of whatever screen the PF is on.

Well Good to know, I might just have to eliminate this 2nd monitor completely.
