razors78 Posted March 7, 2025 Posted March 7, 2025 Hi all! Is there a reason why this table hasn't been recreated yet? It uses the "spike" system, same as Game Of Thrones (which has been recreated). Thanks for any info about this! Would love to play Wrestlemania someday!

You are correct in the fact that WWF uses the Spike 1 system. However, Spike 1 is not yet emulated... Game of Thrones is NOT an emulated game. GOT was manually coded. Manually coding takes much much much longer to create than an emulated game. Spike is also a Linux based system, so simply setting up an environment that will allow for communication between the Linux emulation and Windows is much more involving.
razors78 Posted March 7, 2025 Author Posted March 7, 2025 Thanks for the info! Then we have to wait until a motivated creator wants to undergo manual coding I guess. Nevertheless, now I understand why.

Yeah, it would have to be a pretty motivated person to do it... talking comparison between 250,000 lines of code without emulation and probably 25,000-30,000 with emulation. Not to mention the DMD and second display would have to be dumped and compiled together as well. There is a crapton more work necessary to make a worthy version of un-emulated games.
TNT2 Posted March 31, 2025 Posted March 31, 2025 I am still blown away how good that table recreation is. So awesome. Thanks to everyone who helped on that table!
