Scarface


 

You will want to delete all older pup pack and table versions before installing this new version 1.0.4  !!!!

New For Version 1.0.4

Significant updates to the table including a proper full test of table for bugs in single and multiplayer modes.

  • Fixed so many bugs I lost count, it was a lot
  • Improvements to pup minigame
  • Improved DMD display messaging
  • Added taunts to missed ramp shots
  • More layers of polish to physics

 

Table requirements:


Latest VPX 10.8
Latest PinupPopper
The table requires the included Pupdmd Puppack
Right-click on Puppack zip, go to properties, and Unblock before Unzipping
Once unzipped, place the Scarface folder in your PUPVideos folder
Run the batch file inside Puppack that is designated for your setup

 

Features:
NFozzy Fleep
Scorbit option at the top of the script (off by default)

 

F12 menu options:
Game Rules Available in F12 menu
VR cab, Minimal room, and Mega VR room options
Optional flipper colors
Optional Sideblades placement (one of which was provided by Loaded Weapon)
Difficulty settings, 50% by default
Center post on or off options
Outlane's difficulty options
Balls per game up to 5, set to 3 by default
Turn minigame availability on or off, On by default
Side Rails visible on or off
All sound options for music, mechs, and ball rolling are adjustable

 

Full Credits are Given in the attract mode of the Pupdmd

Thank you for sharing! I'm loving the table so far, but I have had the same issue each time I start a game so I wanted to run it by you in case I'm the problem. Every time the ball travels clockwise through the orbit, it becomes stuck as soon as it's occluded from view. This happened 3 times in a row and I reloaded the table each time. I've attached a screenshot for clarity. Also, everything is up to date as of 2 days ago and I'm running version 1.0.1 of the table.

Same issue here with ball getting stuck. Also, due to a bug, some systems, like mine, will play all backglass audio through the table if there are mixed formats for the sound files. I had to convert some audio to match the rest and everything worked normal again. Just a heads up, this is a common issue for some setups out there and I have no idea what causes it.

Cant wait for the fixed version, this was one of my fave tables a few years ago and the improvements inc the pup pack really make it. Im ready...go get em.....thanks to all concerened

Hello, I am running this in my cabinet and I can't seem to move the scoring and detail window off the playfield. Any direction would be appreciated thankyou

Just FYI... maybe it is still a work in progress?

 

DOF still not working correctly in 1.0.2. Launch worked and a few leds flashed but that's it. No flippers.

The table and pup are amazing. My issue is the music will NOT change to BG is stuck on table.

I went in to the sounds manager they were all on BG. Changed to table, Saved closed out, Changed to BG saved closed out. Didn't do a thing unfortunately

This is a great table and update.  I'm enjoying playing it.

 

I seem to have encountered an EXTRA BALL bug.  I had a great game going and I was racking up the points.  At some point I was awarded an EB and then it kept triggering the EB callout on every switch hit.

 

Looking at code, the AddScore method checks to award the EB.  It looks like it will award the EB every time this method is called when the player score has surpassed the high score.  There is no reset logic.

 

        ' Extra Ball check
        If Score(nPlayer)> HighScore(0) Then
            GiveExtraBall()
        End If
