A few questions as a beginner...

Hello there,

first of all: I am Klaus, nearly 53 years old and simply fascinated by pinball 😁. Some day I surely will build up a complete virtual pin cab, but at the moment I have to daughters in a very stressful age so no time for that. But already the desktop mode is very satisfying. Thanks for all the tables!!!

 

I just discovered this page and especially the VPinWorkshop-Tables and I am purely overwhelmed by these tables. BRAVO!!!

 

I now have some detailed questions and hope that someone can give me an answer:

 

1) where should I place additional files next to the typical un-zipped table files and the still-zipped ROMs? For example: loading the GOONIES table I now have a missing DOT-respecively scoring-matrix (I use the desktop mode but in nearly all other tables without additional files all works). As I normally assume the problem in front of the computer (me😁), I simply have to confess that I do not know where to store these other files making it work?

 

2) at some tables (Harlem Globetrotters, JokerZ) I have the problem that all seems to work but I only have a black-and-white-screen? Do I have to change something in the script? I did not find another comment telling me something especially to this problem...?

 

3) I already have Haunted House in another version and everythings fine with that. In the VPW-version - which is very, very good - I have the problem that I have to use the upper and lower flippers on the other decks with other buttons than the main flippers. I cannot find such a setting in the menue, where can I change that?

 

4) in some tables I have the problems that the lights are simply too bright, can I change this in the main settings?
