iacostap Posted February 14, 2025 Posted February 14, 2025 (edited) Greetings, I have a virtual pinball cabinet mostly with vpx tables in 2d Version and with vr also avaliable with a pair of meta quest 3 glasses, everything configured and working perfectly following tutorials from this and other webs (thanks to all who did them). The thing is I find it much more realistic in vr mode mainly because of the ball's physics, it moves in a more real way , even bouncing vertically when you hit things hard or jumping over obstacles on the playfield (although the aliasing in wires and small lines some times takes mi mind out of the ilusion of a real pinball). In cabinet mode although I configured BAM with a kinect 2 and the perspective changes as I move my head in a realistic way, the ball is glued to the playfield, and there is a part of my mind that takes me out of the simulation reminding me that it is not real. Is there a way to make it bounce like in VR emulation or the rendering in Cab mode makes it impossible? I cannot find anything about this. Thanks. Edited February 25, 2025 by iacostap
