Curratum Posted February 7, 2025 Posted February 7, 2025 Hello, guys! Unlike most of you here, I'd assume, I'm a more casual pinball fan, but just as passionate about the game as you are. I do not own a cabinet, nor a VR headset, I still play on my regular monitor and am looking into good options for a vertical monitor to play on. However, I love the game as much as the next guy in here. I am writing this post to express my immense gratitude and appreciation for all of you here, and on VPForums, and in other online spots that share this incredible wealth of digital joy for all of us to enjoy! I only recently got started with VPX. I was a Zen / Pinball FX player first, but years of disappointment with Zen's product led me to look further into VPX and figure out how it all works, how it's set up and tweaked. I just wanted to share my gratitude for the incredible work you have done and for the amazing tables, visuals and physics you have given to everyone who is enthusiastic about the game to enjoy! From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for allowing pinball enthusiasts to experience those incredible creations! I live in a small Eastern European country and have only seen and played a single real pinball machine in my life, back when I was a kid in the 90s (a 1984 Spy Hunter, as I later figured out), but my fascination with the game was instant, and my love for pinball has been growing ever since I discovered digital pinball. Words are not enough to express how grateful I am for all of this you've shared here, but it's something, right? So, thank you, everyone who has contributed to this wonderful hobby, thank you for your passion, for your work, for your continued efforts to make virtual pinball the best it can be! If there is any way I could donate some money to go towards hosting expenses or something of the kind, do let me know because I would like to give a little something back as best as I can manage. Thank you all again! ❤️
Administrators Dazz Posted February 7, 2025 Administrators Posted February 7, 2025 Greetings @Curratum, Thank you for the kind words. This hobby is definitely a labor of love. We all do this for the love of the game. Thankfully, I live in a place where pinball is plentiful, at public locations and amazing private collections. I couldn't fathom living somewhere where it's difficult to find pinball. Sites such as VPUniverse and VPForums are expensive, both monetarily and physical work that we do to keep things running. Sites like this can only exist by our supporting members. Both sites offer subscriptions, in return for various perks on the sites (such as faster/more downloads). VPU also offers our content authors the ability to accept a tip by using our "Beer Me" feature. This allows users to send a small donation to those people that create this wonderful content. https://vpuniverse.com/subscriptions/
Curratum Posted February 7, 2025 Author Posted February 7, 2025 Thank you for the reply! I hadn't found the subscription page! Will pick up Silver later today, it's the least I can do in return.
