Adding a few tables to a recently upgraded Popper, tables newly added go right to desktop, but work through VPX

They work perfectly when loaded through VPX 10.8. But when I add them and load them through Popper it just drops to desktop and I have to hit Q to get back to Popper. It seems all my previous tables Ive added before upgrading dont do this. Googled for an hour and didnt find anything like this, or maybe I just missed it cause im frustrated lol. Any help would be great.
