neil81992 Posted January 30, 2025 Posted January 30, 2025 Hi Can anybody advise what the difficulty option in F12 menu relates to? I see many are set to 50% but then have seen others at 20%or 100% etc. Is it just the slope of the table or some other wizardry?
MauiPunter Posted January 30, 2025 Posted January 30, 2025 I've always wondered that too. I sometimes thought maybe it adjusts the outlanes or something.
Tikimaster Posted January 30, 2025 Posted January 30, 2025 I found something here: https://www.vpforums.org/index.php?showtopic=37750

It would be good to hear from an author what the definitive explanation is and what would change by upping or lowering the setting. I'd also be interested to know how the default level is calculated - I would hope it's to try and match the original pin as much as possible. I find vpins do tend to play easier than real tables for the most part.

Some scripts have specific options to change outlane difficulty. I always presume 'normal' or 'default' is to match the factory setting of a real pin. There are a few tables that I'd like to make more challenging but I don't like amending options like 'difficulty' unless i'm 100% what the impact will be!
