supered Posted January 30, 2025 Posted January 30, 2025 Maybe I don’t see it, but when using Live Edit to view/edit my table I can rotate the table using the cube, and zoom in and out using mouse wheel. But, is it possible to move the table when zoomed in? I don’t get that to work. I need it to see live in detail if all components are placed on the right height and so…… thanks

You need to use your click wheel and the shift key to move the table around. I actually had to buy another mouse as the one I had didn't have a button under the wheel!!
supered Posted January 30, 2025 Author Posted January 30, 2025 Thanks, will try it out this evening. Why they didn’t use right mouse and move the table with the mouse…. It’s much more “common”. regards Ed
Thalamus Posted January 30, 2025 Posted January 30, 2025 The whole live-view is a "new feature" that is kind of left unfinished for now. My guess is that the devs has so much up their sleeves that I don't expect it getting first priority for a while. Personally, I would love it it moved around in 3D space the say way as in Blender, because then my old brain would not need to adjust as much

supered Posted February 5, 2025 Author Posted February 5, 2025 Thanks guys, it works! Now I can finally see that some screws in my table are floating 😉 live editor is a big plus for table creators!
IgaBiva Posted February 14, 2025 Posted February 14, 2025 Live editor is a fantastic feature. This links give a nice overview - https://github.com/vpinball/vpinball/blob/master/docs/LiveUI.md Keyboard shortcuts are great help

I tried both shift keys with my click wheel and the table only scrolled in and out (Z axis). How would I know if my mouse had a button under the wheel? TIA

3StarPinball Posted November 13, 2025 Posted November 13, 2025 May I ask what mouse you currently own? I have a Logitech M720 Triathlon. It has a mouse wheel that has left and right tilt functionality on the mouse wheel, but unsure of the wheel click. I tried clicking the wheel down in the live editor, and I don't see the cursor changing to a circle with scroll arrows inside.
