[SOLVED] Haunted House (Gottlieb 1982) - how do you get one set of flipper buttons to control all 8 flippers?

I've set both sets of flippers to L-Shift and R-Shift accordingly, but only the main-level set of flippers works? At first, I thought maybe my input config didn't save, but nope - it's there. So, I'm stumped. Anyone solve this weird issue? Thanks in advance!

There should be a discrete setting on the table - not the ROM, the table - with the VPW release as to what happens with the flippers for the upper/lower playfields. The major complication is that Haunted House has a second set of actual flipper buttons for those. The table as released, the table defaults to Magnasaves for those flippers, like the physical cabinet. If you hold down both Magnasaves at once during attract mode, it should bring up the menu and you can find the option there.

Thanks! I'll double-check the VPW table (which I have) and hopefully get it sorted there. Remapping the buttons in VPinMAME for just this table had no effect, which really surprised me.

Yeah, it's because VPW wanted to replicate the physical configuration by default, which is effectively Magnasaves Operate Other Flippers. And the "second flipper" button configuration in VPX is meant for "staged" upper flippers, which is a different setup entirely where the upper flipper "button" is a second leaf switch on the main flipper button stack.

I fixed it. Turned out I needed to install FlexDMD and then I could access the table menu and then change the flipper button setting. All good now. Thanks for your help!
