whitemoses40 Posted January 3, 2025 Posted January 3, 2025 Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. I am a new member who just purchased a machine a couple of months ago. I'm experiencing a problem with flippers freezing from time to time. This is not a "lag" per say but usually once or twice a game when I hit the flipper there is a noticeable delay or it simply does not activate. Usually I can get it to activate in less than a half a second with hitting it again but every now and then it's unresponsive longer than a second. VID_20250102_205333.mp4 Is this normal? Have any of you encountered anything like this? I've attached a video showing the problem. Towards the end the flipper just doesn't respond when hit Thanks for your help.
Administrators Dazz Posted January 3, 2025 Administrators Posted January 3, 2025 It's not normal, but it's difficult for the community to troubleshoot without much more information. When someone purchases a pre-built cabinet, especially from a company or individual that sells multiple machines to the public... The user should contact the company, or individual, that built it for initial support. It's against the community rules, and illegal, to sell machines that include the software. It's difficult for the community to troubleshoot when we don't know anything about the machine or hardware that it's running. I'm sure if you could provide specific details about hardware and software versions the community could help figure it out. I'm assuming that's the Visual Pinball version of Tron and not Future Pinball. This issue could be caused by several software specific issues, such as B2S version, version of PinMAME, and version of Visual Pinball. Frist would be to ensure that you are running the current stable versions of each.
whitemoses40 Posted January 3, 2025 Author Posted January 3, 2025 Ok thanks. More than anything I just wanted to know if the problem was common or it. I'll first check as to the updates. Thanks for your reply.
