Swapped out Monitor - Lost Custom DMDs.

Hey folks!

 

Just swapped out my playfield monitor for a larger monitor. I did not change ports, simply unplugged old monitor and connected the cable to new monitor (same resolution) while machine was off.  Now when I play I'm missing the custom DMD that accompanies the Genesis B2S file. 

 

Setup:

3 monitors.  Back glass and playfield display properly and function as they should on their respective monitors.   I can use F1 and select "Use external DMD (dll)" and a dot matrix version appears in the correct (DMD) monitor, but for the life of me I cannot locate the fancy DMD that was working perfectly fine prior to swapping the monitor. 

In terms of what software is installed, the latest standard BallerInstaller release.

F1 (I assume PinMAME?)

Show DMD/Display window - I assume this draws the standard orange DMD into the corner of your playfield (when enabled) - good for desktop users with a single monitor?)

Use external DMD (dll) - this is used to enable a dot matrix display on a third monitor instead of the playfield?  In this case, it displays on the monitor I use for my DMD (small dedicated LCD monitor)?
Should any of these be selected when attempting to use a custom B2S DMD? 

Right Clicking on Backglass presents these options:

DMD: visible, hidden, standard

B2S DMD: visible, hidden, 

Can someone explain the difference between these choices, and do some overwrite others?  What combination should I have set if I wish to see the fancy supplied DMD (B2S version) show on my dedicated DMD screen?  I'm trying random combinations and restarting the table, and it's just painful.  If I understood what each of these actually did (and whether some overwrite the other?) perhaps I'd have more success.
