DMD replacement in Slot machine.

I am looking to replace the DMD in my Williams Winning Streak slot machine. As far as I can tell It's a similar 192x64 Cherry DMD that pinball machines use. It is powered by a standard Molex connector verses the high voltage connector I am seeing on the pinball displays. Am I correct in thinking that I can just build myself a 192x64 display from these DIY's and it will work the same way in my slot machine?

I have implemented Williams DotMation support into the XL firmware a while ago ! If your machine uses the same protocol it should work.
