PIN2DMD EVO128X32 “INVALID UPDATE”

Hi,

 

I am having a problem with my PIN2DMD firmware upgrade and I don’t understand what I am doing wrong.

 

I recently received a new .pal file for my TZ, and the documentation says I need to update to latest firmware.

My PIN2DMD is at 4.50; the latest is 4.53.

 

My board says: “PIN2DMD COLORPRISM 128x32 EVO128X32 BOARD REV 1.4”

 

(it looks exactly like this: )

 

I tried following the update instructions here:

But when I boot with the PIN2DMD.upd file on my SDCARD, it says: “INVALID UPDATE”

 

I noticed that the CPU on my PIN2DMD is an STM32F407 so I also tried the .upd file here:

But that gave the same result. (“INVALID UPDATE”)

 

Has anybody else seen this problem?

Never had such a problem . Did you try a different SD card ?

You could also use the 64bit pin2dmd.exe to save your keyfile on your pc and

update using the DFU file and the Device-DFU Upload function in the 64bit pin2dmd.exe
