AJfromUK Posted November 7, 2024 Posted November 7, 2024 Loved pinball all my life, I go to a place two hours away from me regualrly to play, have it on my phone and PC (FX3 and FX get hammered alot). Due to space I was umming and arring about whether to buy or try my hand at building a VPM, a few days ago I bought some ply sheets with an aim to utalise two old moniotrs I had laying around and then spotted someone selling a smal 32 inch VPM on Facebook for £800 so I jumped at it. It's by no means powerful but it's a start for me and although it may seem overpriced I thought for the cabinet, plunger and replay buttons it was a good price to play and maybe next year when I finally upgrade my gaming PC I could just move the innerds over to the pinball and maybe upgrade the playfield screen. It's current spec is: Windows 10 Intel i5 8gb RAM nVidia Geforce 1030 32 inch 1080p LG playfield 4:3 Dell backglass. It's currently running Pinball X at startup along with JoyToKey to manage the buttons; it has a various tables on it via FX3, VP etc but I noticed a few table just not working full stop. My question is, how best would you go about resetting this and starting from scratch? I was thinking about just signing into Steam on it with my account that I own lots of tables on, especially as The Addams Family is my go to table but I also like Alive vs Pinball, Family Guy, American Dad etc (FX 3). Any help or suggestions happily recieved!
