Time Warp (downloaded right from this site) is the only table so far that somehow doesn't recognize (or support or whatever?)  my 7.1 channels. All the sounds are played back through the main backglass speakers. All my other 55 tables distribute the flipper / bumper sounds etc. onto my 4 cabinet speakers fine.

Any help or suggestions are appreciated, as always!

Open the VPX file and check the sound manager under the "Table" tab.  Look at the "output" column where the sound is being played.  For sound effects, it should be set to "Table", for music or call outs, it should be set to "Backglass".

Thanks, that worked!

But I still don't understand how the "volume /position" adjust is supposed to work since pulling the sliders down to zero doesn't change anything volumewise. And all the sound effects are much too loud compared to other tables.

Would "Pinvol" help here?`Haven't tried it for years and am a little out of touch with it...

Following the build of this table on Vpinball was fascinating. The banana flippers brought about some serious creativity. Glad the table can still be found here and do hope better resources surface some day.
