A1752CF.bin - where can I find this file for Gottlieb System 1 tables? ("closeenc.zip")

BIGUS Mod 's "CE3K" table gives me the "Machine terminated... check the rom path or file " error when trying to load it.

Testing the table with VPinMAME shows that it expects to have the file "A1752CF.bin" inside the closeenc.zip file (see photos)

All the closeenc.zip versions I can get my hands on don't work. If you have an idea please let me know.

UPDATE: Believe it or not (or is this common VP knowledge?):

 

Since the rom files for every (?) Gottlieb table seem to be the same I tried to just rename the cleoptr.zip --> closeenc.zip - and it works!!!

 

How can that be? Most interesting, I'd say.....

There was a redump of the A1752CF spider chip that corrected one byte of code. All the Gottlieb System 1 tables use the same instruction set within that rom. The same rom will work to correct all of the Gottlieb System 1 tables. This is for the latest VPinMAME betas. 

 

 

I use clrmamepro to audit and correct my PinMAME rom collection.

Thanks for the info!

I downloaded the new updated rom package, that's where I got the cleoptr.zip from (and the closeenc.zip which didn't work) so those tables should work as they should, right? Also CE3K? Is that one byte corrected here (as it as apparently important!)?

 

I'm really beginning to (re)discover those older tables at the moment. Plain and simple tables. Thank you to everybody who makes all this possible!

I don't know which updated rom package you are referring to.

 

If you got cleoptr working then go into the zip and copy the file A1752CF.bin to closeenc.zip and for any other Gottlieb System 1 rom set.
