Cabinet buttons not working as soon as Popper frontend has started (but only via autostart)

I'm encountering a most unusual problem which has only appeared about a week ago:

 

I have the Pinup Popper frontend on autostart in W11 but after it has started no cabinet buttons are working. I have to push the Windows keyboard button to get my windows start window and then the buttons are working.

 

But: When I start the frontend from the Windows desktop the buttons are working!

I have no idea what's wrong. Any suggestions would be most welcome.

I tried reinstalling Popper -actually I tried updating to V1.5 but after pasting the files into the Popper folder it still said "1.4"- but now it works again!  Strange, though...
