SuperRob Posted September 18, 2024 Posted September 18, 2024 I have the AtGames Legends 4KP and their Arcade Control Panel (ACP) add-on. In the OTG settings, I have it set to Controller so that I can keep the analog plunger response. In Windows 11, the 4KP hardware is recognized as an HID Interface, with the buttons as buttons, the plunger as the Z-Axis, and the accelerometer as X/Y Rotation. The D-Pad is mapped to the POV Hat. With the ACP installed, you get six more buttons, the D-Pad is swapped for a joystick (still mapped as the POV Hat), and the trackball mapped to a mouse. In either case, I can’t seem to find a way to use the D-Pad/Joystick to navigate without using some additional software like Joy2Key, which I’d like to avoid. Everything else works perfect, VPX and MAME work perfectly, just struggling with this last piece. I’ve tried the JoyAxis variable in the custom settings, I’d tried different input drivers, nothing seems to work. I can’t map it as button presses, but it doesn’t recognize it as a joystick either. Am I going to be stuck using Joy2Key?
ejvfx Posted June 16, 2025 Posted June 16, 2025 I have the same challenge with my ALP HD with ACP. Nailbuster seems to suggest that JoyAxisMove=1 should allow this to work but it doesn't. Joy2Key and XPadder work but there are other side effects with those that I don't love.
