tower27 Posted September 14, 2024 Posted September 14, 2024 Good Morning, I read almost every document and viewed almost every tutorial, but I'm not able to solve the follwing problem. So I would be pleased if someone can help me. In my VPIN I used for some months the VirtuaPin™ Digital Plunger Kit v3 and for the LED with DOF the TeensyControl Box from GermanGamingSuppliers. This worked fine. So my next step is now to add some toys (first some solenoids and flasher). So I converted my VPin to Arnoz hardware. I now have a Dude's Cab, two Walter boards and behind it a MosLight (ID=1) and a Mos8 (ID=2). The buttons, plungers and nudge sensors work perfectly . I continue to use the Teensy Control Box for LED control without any problems. Unfortunately I have a problem with my solenoids. If I control this directly from the Arnoz configuration software, then they work fine. However, I can't get the toys to work out of VPX. For my first test I only connected one solenoid to the first output of the Mos8. My right flipper is linked to port 1 in the DOF Config Tool, I created the DOF config files according to various videos and instructions and copied them to "the right place". Unfortunately the solenoid doesn't work under VPX. The LEDs work fine, so DOF itself schould be fine. Does anyone have an idea about this problem? Which additional information/files are needed to analyse the problem. Im my GlobalConfig.xml there is no entry for my Dude or MOS. And also in my Cabine.XML I see only the teensyControlBox. How can I add my Dude's Cab and the MOS? Thanks
Rappelbox Posted September 14, 2024 Posted September 14, 2024 your hardware is all good, your setup in general, too. You need to update to a later version of DOF in order to make it compatible with Arnoz's stuff. if you feel comfortable setting up a complete new environment, save your ini files, you cabinet xml and install the very latest (beta) DOF files from mjr: http://mjrnet.org/pinscape/dll-updates.html if you DON'T feel comfortable the get the version before that and only overwrite the directoutput dll's, both for 32 and 64 bit Happy to see that you like my Teesny

tower27 Posted September 15, 2024 Author Posted September 15, 2024 I just finished my work and 8 solenoids are working! Thank you again.
