Hi,

My cabinet is still running windows 10. I will be able to upgrade for free to windows 11 until October this year. I am wondering if I should do it? Does anyone have experience upgrading from windows 10 to 11? Is it a smooth process as far as Popper, VPX, B2S, freezy, ... goes? Will it just work, or should I schedule a weekend to reconfigure everything again? There is nothing else on that PC, it is a dedicated PC only for my cabinet, so there is nothing else noteworthy installed on it.

In principle I am fine with windows 10 for now, but if there are no known issues upgrading to 11, I'll do it to be a bit more future proof.

With the end of Windows 10's lifetime approaching, I'm also very interested in your experiences with the change. I'm currently using 32 and 64 bit and have read that 32 bit is a problem with Windows 11. In my case, a hardware replacement would even be necessary because my configuration is not supported for Windows 11.

I did the update and indeed no issues whatsoever. My audio driver defaulted back to 2.1 instead of 5.1, but that was an easy fix. I did not had to touch anything of my virtual pinball software (vpx, vpinmame, freezy, popper, ...) It all just worked. I also use both 32bit and 64 bit. I only have 2 tables I run the 32bit version for, so I won't say it is an extensive test, but both tables just work.
