Iron Man Vault Edition (Stern 2010) VPW v1.0 - "Muted ROM" issue

I've just installed Iron Man and it seems awesome - but the problem I'm having is that the DMD appears to have background music and it's interfering with the PuP Pack music?

 

I found a "muted rom" (not heard of one of those before) but, when I use that, the game gives me a CRC error when I start it up?

 

Anyone any ideas? How I can disable the table's own background sound so that I can use the PuP Pack sound?

A muted rom will throw a crc error from vpinmame. This is normal and usually only happens once. Eventually it will be ignored.

Ahhh okay - so I just keep accepting it and then it will be fine.

if you run the rom via setup.exe it will tell you that same thing

F1 to get into the VPinMAME game settings dialog. Click the radio button for "Ignore Rom CRC errors". Click Ok.
