I think MAME it`s a important feature in our virtual pinballs.

 

I use MAME Doflinx in order to get doflinx effects in my leds during gameplay in mame..

 

But i think it`s important to add the artwork, bezels, marquees, control panels etc.. in a way that you can change different views during your gameplay..

 

And it`s important to add the best quality pictures

You must also search for a good artwork pack for the games..

But i want to make my own artwork and i want to make my own different views..

 

For example,i have found a good quality image for the controlpanelin gun smoke and i have built my first view for gunsmoke:

 

 

The next view will be only cpo and marquee and bigger screen ( less bezel):

 

 

And little more...

 

Mame.lay has a lot of features and i will use it for show every element in each screen in my next step (marquee on the backglass or the topper, pcb or cabinet pic in the full dmd, and so on, etc...

 

If you want this three different views on your MAME gunsmoke:

Simply download the gunsmoke.zip and place the file in your artwork MAME folder (NOT UNZIP THE FILE).

Then you can press TABULATOR during gameplay in MAME and select the view in the video section (cpo1,cpo2 and cpo3)

I will build some more MAME games.. You can find my work on gunsmoke artwork here..

 

But i am not happy with some gunsmoke videos and i will update the file soon..

 

Now i am working on galaxian artwork..the artwork videos will better than the gunsmoke
