LeanderQuest Posted July 23, 2024 Posted July 23, 2024 Hi! Can someone please explain the tilde key? How do you increase the volume of a rom? I have a German keyboard layout. When I press the "ß" and "´" next to 8, 9, 0... I see something like a volume control that goes from green to red...but it does not do anything soundwise. According to forums, you can increase the rom volume with the tilde key. But where is it? Some say it is the key next to the 1 and below esc...but there is no ~ there...the German layout has ^ and ° (same key) next to the 1 and below Esc. The ~ is next to enter... +, ~ and * are all on the same key and can be triggered by pressing the key alone or with shift and alt. However, neither works...I haven't found a way to adjust rom volumes yet. How does it work?
Content Provider CarnyPriest Posted July 23, 2024 Content Provider Posted July 23, 2024 On English/US keyboards the tilde key is on the very left side of the keyboard and just below the Esc key. Tilde is shift+single back quote. I would not know on the German keyboard, but I wonder if you can assign your Windows virtual keyboard to use an English style keyboard? Shortcut ctrl+Win key+ o
LeanderQuest Posted July 24, 2024 Author Posted July 24, 2024 Thanks, but it does not do anything. What do you do to get it to work?
