TheSupremacyCabinet Posted July 19, 2024 Posted July 19, 2024 Good morning! I have two questions to ask you. 1) For days I've been tinkering to be able to put just 1 credit for Zaccaria's Pinball Champ '82. Every time I press the 5 button it inserts 7 credits and for me it's quite frustrating, given that I have a coin acceptor with the possibility of inserting coins. I tried to access the dipswitches, to change the values, but it didn't work. First of all, after starting the table, I pressed F6 and enabled dipswitch 4. Then with the 7 key I changed the value to 1 in the following settings: 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16. At that point I went back to setting 0, and after listening to the annoying sound I pressed the F6 key again and removed the check from dipswitch 4. I closed the table, restarted it, but still pressing the 5 key or in any case even putting the token on my coin selector (which is associated with the 5 key), it continues to insert 7 credits every time. Is there a way to solve? 2) Always from the same table (Pinball Champ 82) how do I enable the voices in Italian? I tried to download the rom (pinchamp.zip) and then I also downloaded the complete rom containing the sounds in Italian, only that these were in a subfolder of the zip, called "IT" and inside the files named in this mode: pchmp_it.1c, pchmp_it.1e, pchmp_it.1f, pchmp_it.1g. Since these files were present in the original rom file (pinchamp.zip) instead: pchmp_gb.1c, pchmp_gb.1e, pchmp_gb.1f, pchmp_gb.1g, I did nothing but rename the files with the Italian voices exactly with the same English voice file (e.g. pchmp_it.1c has become pchmp_gb.1c, pchmp_it.1e has become pchmp_gb.1e, etc...). So then obviously I deleted the original files with the English voices from inside the zip. So now I have these: - pchmp_gb.1c (which was the original Italian file before renamed to pchmp_it.1c) - pchmp_gb.1e (same thing...) - pchmp_gb.1f (same thing...) - pchmp_gb.1g (same thing...) - pinchamp.ic1 - pinchamp.ic2 - pinchamp.ic3 I don't know if I did the job correctly, but now it seems that the table sounds with Italian voices, only I had a doubt, because if I go into the settings programming and after pressing the 7 key and going to number 5 (sound test and spoken), I hear all the voices in Italian, but in some places they almost seem ruined or accelerated, I can't understand. I don't know if it's normal or the method for putting the voices in Italian shouldn't have been done this way. Thx!
TheSupremacyCabinet Posted August 28, 2024 Author Posted August 28, 2024 hello, for the first question I think I solved it by associating the 3 key with the credit button. As for the second question, can anyone help me? Thanks

Thanks First try downloading the Italian rom here... https://vpuniverse.com/files/file/523-pinchamizip/ Place the zipped Italian rom in your roms folder. Then open the table script, and look for cGameName="pinchamp" It is usually towards the top of the script. (On 32assassins table version, it is on Line 9) You want to change that to the Italian roms name, so it will look like this... cGameName="pinchampi" (You are just adding an i to the end of pinchamp.) Now start your table. Save table if you want to keep your changes.

SixOfTwelve Posted August 9, 2025 Posted August 9, 2025 I had the same coin problem, and it also wouldn't let me change the number of balls per game (value #20). Whatever I entered there, it remained stuck on 3. Then I saw that Farfalla is running on the same system (Zaccaria Gen2), and this game I can set to 5 balls and proper coin acceptance without any problems. So on a whim, I made a copy of my farvalla.nv NVRAM file and renamed it pinchamp.nv - and it worked! Pressing 5 now adds just one coin, and the game is set to 5 balls.
