Messed up pup packs, please help!

Please help. After weeks of daily hours I messed up pinup player and don't know how to fix it! Everything worked including pup packs, but then I installed some more tables with media manager and changed the pinupplayer.ini in the directories of Stranger Things and Pizza Time. I also clicked on "Create pup pack" because a table had videos, but no pup pack...that's it.

 

After doing this, no single table with pup packs work although I have individual pinupplayer.ini files in the respective pup packs AND also a backed up pinupplayer.ini in the root director of pinup system.

Every single pup pack does not react to the action going on, but keeps displaying the intro video in a loop or the first screen when booting up a table. No special video when a mode is active, no "ball drained" video, no other videos...every table's pup pack is in intro mode and does not react to starting the table or playing the table.

 

I am really frustrated because I spent so many hours. It seems there is a problem with active vs. inactive screens or forcepop, forceback etc., but I did not change anything.

 

How can I fix my problem? I have only one screen, desktop mode, 1920x1080.

 

What other files might be faulty apart from pinupplayer.ini?

I did not change the structure or screen order of a pup pack...they are still dating back to the time where everything worked without being overwritten by some issue.

 

PS When launching pinupplayerconfigdisplays.bat, I no longer get the background music of the player.

PPS Maybe it is related to the problem that VPX does not properly exit. When I quit a table to the editor and close VPX, then want to delete the table, it is not possible as it is still open although I don't find it in the task manager.

After installing everything from scratch and fiddling with files I found out that it is ONCE AGAIN DMDdevice.ini! It seems that a table or one of my clicks had changed something that keeps videos from being played. I have no clue why DMDDevice.ini has to do anything with pup packs and videos, but it seems to be like that. Default ini? Pup packs work. My .ini? Pup packs only play the intro.

SOLVED! After hours of trying different methods everything's up and running again. It seems something changed "looking for pindmd" to "true"...which caused pup player to play the intro only, but nothing else...strange, but....ok.

Can you elaborate more on how you fixed this?  I have a couple of tables that just will not play their pups on my fulldmd (or anywhere) anymore... and they used to work just fine.  For example... Die Hard, Futurama, IT, and more.  Seems like it's mostly the original non-rom tables.  Thank you.

Maybe DMDdevice.ini in vpminmame was changed.
