What are must have 70s and 80s tables that defined pinball or were the first to have certain mechanics? I am not a huge fan of ding ding ding bellsound tables and like 90s the most with ramps, but mid to late 80s are nice too...and I want to have a good collection of classics from the 70s and 80s.

I already went through several lists I found online...but I am still looking for your thoughts.

Do you know tables from the 70s and 80s that everyone should have in their collection because they were new, unique, are classics etc.?

Thank you very much for compiling this list! I already installed most of these tables or at least decided not to keep others because of a similar playfield or sounds that were too annoying...and I am sensitive to certain colors and too much flashing going on...so no Fireball II or Black Knight 2000 because of the constant light wheel.

I will look up the names that were new to me!
Thanks again! :)

I am looking forward to more suggestions, especially with cool toys (also 80s, 90s...).
I forgot to mention in my initial post that I own all Pinball FX and Zaccharia tables.

My list is much shorter...

Centaur

Eight Ball

Eight ball Deluxe

Flight 2000

Voltan escapes the cosmic doom

Fathom

Firepower

High Speed

Kiss

Six Million dollar man

Quicksilver

Spectrum

Electra

TX-Sector

Might missed a few, but these are all good games. Voltan and Spectrum are so underrated...
