Horizontal bar or arc with desktop setup, and how to display manufacturer and year

Hi! Two questions:

1) Is there a way to use a horizontal bar or arc with a desktop single-screen setup? I downloaded desktop arc and bar, cabinet landscape and portrait and tested the horizontal and vertical options, but it does not work.

This is what it looks like. I don't want the games to be displayed from top to bottom, but from left to right just like in the cabinet layout...like in the second screenshot...but of course without big playfield videos.

It would be great if the bar with the games could go from left to right and the DMD would be displayed on the left instead.

2) How do you display the manufacturer and the year a table was released? None of my options display it...but both are saved in the games manager, e.g. AC/DC 2013, Stern. I've seen some YouTube videos that have both details.

I found out that you have to edit pupmenuscriptthemeoptions.txt to display manufacturer and year.

How you display the total playing time of a game?

Look in PUPMenuScriptThemeOptions.txt. It has details on what you can change and acceptable values.

 

change one of the dbContentX1G areas to be ["Time"]

 

example to show the time in text area 4 instead of count

 

 dbContent4G = ["Time"] ;

 

This is based on the assumption that the game database table holds the play time in that field and not just the current time.

 

Always make a backup before tweaking this.
