Hi!

I made up a desktop setup with DMD and topper on the left, the table in the middle and the backglass with videos on the right. As Scared Stiff has the spider wheel on the right, I wanted to have DMD, backglass and topper on the left. I launched the table, clicked the backglass video and changed positions of the backglass and topper. The screen had the rom name (ss)...I clicked on save and wanted to save the positions of the elements for Scared Stiff only.

However, when I loaded Lord of the Rings, Jurassic Park or other tables with videos, ALL of them had the backglass video on the left. Why? Doesn't clicking a video while a table is active let you choose positions of the active table individually?

Another question: What is the normal size of a topper video? Mine is 512x151...and the video changes height on Scared Stiff all the time. On another table (Lord of the Rings) the "One Ring" on the topper is sometimes in a 4:3 format with black borders next to it, sometimes in 16:9 format and without borders. Why? What height and width should I use for my topper?

screen sizes and placements are a function of pinupplayer.ini. Personally I keep a copy of it in each pup folder but if you do not then it will use the one \pinupsystem. If you make one how you like for each pup save the ini to the individual folder and pinupplayer will use that one instead of the one in root.

I see, thank you. I thought you could save tables individually...as far as I remember I dragged around screens some time ago and they were only saved for one table.

But basically, VPX always saves the pinupplayer.ini as a default setting and I need to manually copy the file to the pup folder...and when I am done with all tables I simply copy the default setting back to the regular location? Or is there a way to save .inis in the correct folders right away without copy and paste?

Unfortunately not. It will always save to the root \pinupsystem. What I do is copy my favorite most used pinupplayer.ini into a new pup folder before I even start the table. That way when you edit the pup pack it will save to THAT ini

I don't know why, but I changed some settings on two AC/DC tables and the .ini was not saved in the root folder, but in the respective pup pack folder. Why? Because there already was an ini?

@Cliffy I have a huge problem. I set up some tables with pup packs and all of them worked. Today I finished adding more tables, then wanted to play some tables with pup packs, but no single pup pack worked.

I changed pinupplayer.ini only in the respective pup pack folder of Pizza Time...

I did not modify the pup packs' pinupplayer.inis of Congo, Lord of the Rings, Scared Stiff, AC/DC and others...nor did I edit the default pinupplayer.ini in the pinup system folder.

However, every single pup pack no longer plays videos, but is stuck in the intro or the "no video is played" screen.

Congo plays the intro all over again, no matter how long I play the table.
Baywatch plays the intro all over again.
Lord of the Rings only has a background without any real video.
Same for AC/DC...

Are there other files that might be messed up? Normally, a pup pack loads its settings in the respective pup pack's folder, correct?

I checked the pinup system folder and found some newly created files although I did not change anything but add new tables and modify the .ini of ONE pup pack.

Newly created files:

pinupmenusetup.lay
And in the launch folder: curclose.bat, curlaunch.bat, ingame.bat
