DOFlinx is preventing my Start button from working (mapped to enter) consistanly

When I'm in PinupPopper and doflix is loaded on startup, my Start button on the cab (tied to the enter key) is not functioning well.  For example:

when I exit a table or enter a table... for a few seconds till the leds finish doing their red / green / blue flashing which I assume is normal in pinup after you exit a table... the enter button (start) won't function.

Sometimes it stops working completely...  After I was done playing for the night and went into the exit popper screen, the enter button would not even register.  I had to grab my keyboard and physically press enter.

Maybe this is an easy one (I hope)?  I've double checked the mapping of the start / enter button and it's mapped correctly and not double mapped.  I don't run joy2key.  I have a PinOne full board and his button board as well.  If you need me to test anything or share any more info please let me know.
