Bob22 Posted June 29, 2024 Posted June 29, 2024 Hello! I was thinking about picking up the Pinball Wicked - Black Flaggers during the Steam sale for my pinball cab. It looks like a fun table, but it seems the developers have abandoned it. I also saw something about needing a code from the developers to turn on cabinet mode. Does anyone have recent experience setting this table up on vpin? Is the code still required from the developers? Thank you.
Pinballuser Posted June 29, 2024 Posted June 29, 2024 the table requires a code for cabinet mode in order to move the DMD to a 3d monitor. you cannot rotate the table even with cabinet support. You will need external scrips to set your monitor to portrait mode before the game is launched and back to landscape when the game exits. its a fun game but not a easy to set up for a cabinet and don't buy the Supporter Upgrade, its complete garbage pinpup set up https://www.nailbuster.com/wikipinup/doku.php?id=pinball_wicked pinballx set up https://forums.gameex.com/forums/topic/21921-pinball-wicked-working-in-my-cabinet/
MaxVelocity Posted July 1, 2024 Posted July 1, 2024 I have it and played it years ago, worth a purchase on sale I think. Decent enough game but not played it for ages etc. I have played it in tate mode (setting it up before launching as mentioned above by putting the screen in tate orientation) just using my single main monitor to play it. The screenshot below is from 2018. Liked the table but this game never really went anywhere in terms of development etc. Still worth having if you're a pin fan.
Tikimaster Posted July 1, 2024 Posted July 1, 2024 The best Pirate Table in the universe. I love it. 😍
DarthCurry Posted August 8, 2025 Posted August 8, 2025 Devs just updated this table, and it's really fun. Moved to Unreal5 and made a bunch of optimizations and updates. Really wish they'd put SSF in the game, as it feels so flat compared to VPX in that regard. But you should check it out again, now that it appears (?) to have been resurrected and again in active development after a long long time in beta.
sprintgeek Posted October 30, 2025 Posted October 30, 2025 Just added this via Steam. Havent had a chance to play it yet, but was able to move DMD and Backglass where i needed. Using this for setup assistance - https://www.nailbuster.com/wikipinup/doku.php?id=pinball_wicked
