LessCPUthreads Option

Fairly new and playing around with performance optimizations… in the source, I see there is a command line option for ‘LessCPUthreads’ … digging a bit, it appears this (somewhat obviously) uses less threads when loading resources. It appears this is solely for the loading process and not have any impact otherwise… does that sound right? For curiosity, I’d like to learn more about why this was implemented… memory pressure? Thx!
