Colorizing external ZeDMD

I wanted to see if there was a way that I can send a style command to the ZeDMD.
I can set the style of the VirtualDMD in DmdDevice.ini:
[futurama]
virtualdmd enabled = true
virtualdmd style = alt2

This does not seem to have an effect on the ZeDMD.
If adjust from F1 menu in Game for a ROM game, I seem to be able to adjust the colors on the ZeDMD as well as the VirtualDMD.

 

Being that Futurama doesn't have a ROM is there a way to change this for this table? I might be missing something straightforward.

Thanks in advance for schooling me. That's how I learn all this.
