(If you mean update to 64bit) You need to update every component, you use. Visual Pinball, VPinmame, Backglassserver, DMDext, etc. In most cases you copy over files and click register. Its not witchcraft.. Open the page, sit back and watch the nice video smaug made. Then, watch it again. 🙂 Get all the files you need and update.. (Backup first) https://github.com/vpinball/b2s-backglass/wiki/64bit-VPX-Pincab-Setup-Guide If you mean update to 10.8 in 32bit, - just download the zip extract, unblock the files and copy over the files. benoitdu77 Posted June 22, 2024 Author Posted June 22, 2024 en ce qui concerne les positions des dmd il faut faire une copie de ce que j'ai? et pour les pov aussi? ou il faut reparamétrer chaque table?
Joppnl Posted June 26, 2024 Posted June 26, 2024 Just did this last week, from 10.7 to 10.8. My advise and what I did: do it step_by_step. If you need a newer version of the B2S server: install that first and make sure it works with 10.7. Same if you use it with DOF, Freezy etc. All these programs: get the latest version and test it with 10.7 Then if all works, install 10.8 (32) and see if that works. (it's not really installing: just unzip and put the files where they belong) If that works...install 64 bit which might need some tweaks here/there to have everything to work. See YT way of the wrench, he has also some nice video's, you will learn what to do.

It can read the old PoV files, if you change settings, a tablename.ini will be added to the table directory. By default you do not have to change anything on the tables. Take a screenshot of your key settings, they may be lost when you update to 10.8. With a screenshot of the old settings, you can quickly reconfigure them. SpatulosChontey Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 Hi team. I have updated to 10.8, but many of the tables now don't show the playfield lights (ie - the ones that highlight where to aim, or what stage you're on etc). I've tried everything to solve this, but keep drawing blanks. As soon as I roll back to 10.7 it all works again, but then can't run the latest tables. Any advice?
