I have an animation of a primitive tied to KeyDown = PlungerKey which is working great when pressing either the enter key on my keyboard or the fire button on my cab which is also mapped to enter. A separate animation and light sequence is tied to the KeyUp = PlungerKey.

 

When I pull the plunger on my cab, the animation does not activate.

 

The plunger is, as I understand it, mapped to the z-axis as a controller.

 

Any ideas on how to detect that the plunger is being pulled back and when it is released?
