Hello all.

I posted this on r/virtualpinball on Reddit but didn't get much of a response so I thought I'd try other places.  Thanks in advance for any help!

My system is  an Intel i7-5820 @ 3.3GHz with 16GB RAM.  The video card is NVDIA GeForce GTX 1080.   It was suggested in that Reddit thread that my CPU was not powerful enough but I have a hard time believing that's why it lags after exiting games.

------------   original post below    -------------------------------

After exiting tables, my Pinup Popper interface comes back up but my system lags for about 5 seconds (until the wheel banner fades out) before I can make any selections (back, flippers to change selected game, etc). Once the banner fades out, I can pick a different table, go back, exit, etc.

Is this normal? I don't think there was that lag when I originally installed everything but I can't remember for sure. Everything else runs and works fine, it's just the ~5 second lag after exiting tables. After installing and tweaking so many tables, I don't want to start from scratch just to see if that fixes a minor inconvenience.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Finally fixed this 6mo later, albeit unintentionally.

I was having issues with other parts of my cab and ran through these instructions effectively rebuilding the VPinMAME folder:

All is good now…
