PinBlob (WIP - Re-skin / Re-Theme of Bally Atlantis)

Hello everyone, wanted to share a early WIP table that I am working on called PinBlob. It is loosely based off of the 1988 The Blob remake. At this stage the table is just a re-skin / re-theme of UnclePaulie's Bally Atlantis (1989) table Mod originally made by Herwey, so all of the major credit should go to those guys, all I did so far was some photo-shopping. Huge thanks to UnclePaulie for letting me use this table. This is my first attempt at making anything in VPX I still have a lot to learn and a long road to journey. I plan on continuing to work and do updates on the table until it becomes something unique. Give it a go if you want to check it out, comes with a basic Db2s back-glass and runs off of the Atlantis rom for now. Attached is a quick and dirty to do list that outlines the work I would like to do on the table as I continue.

 

1. Figured out how to get rid of the in game speech effects by either editing the rom, muting the rom and getting sound from a pup pack, or possibly using altsound.
2. Create a alias for the table so it doesn't interfere with anyone running the original Atlantis table.
3. Create a pup pack and/or fine tune the Db2s back-glass.
4. Replace the 3d model on the play-field with something that better matches the PinBlob theme
5. Move some objects around the play-field to make the game feel different from it's donor table, possibly add a 3rd flipper.
6. Do away with the original scoring displays and move onto something that uses either ultra, flex, or pup.
7. Beware the Blob!!!!
