Hello All,

So I cant figureout why my color DMD's are only working when testing in Vpinmame, the DMD will not even show up when a table loads.

If I use ALT/TAB I can see DMD.DLL window but its empty and does nothing?

Looking for something I'm missing, or forgot to do. Thought I coverd everything ... man do I feel like a newbie LOL

THanks for any help.

open your dmddevice.ini and check these entries:

; a DMD that renders with nice dots on a computer monitor
[virtualdmd]
enabled = true

; virtual dmd stays on top of all other windows
stayontop = true
What versions of vpx and vpinmame are you using?

Make sure the cgamename and altcolor folder names match exactly.

If using .pac or .cRZ altcolor files make sure NO .pal files exist in the altcolor folder

Thank you guys for the help!

I figured it out. LOL like I said a newbie.

For what ever reason the playfield changed to a 150% scaling, in turn this made my correct DMD settings move the DMD in an off screen location.  After turning off scaling I was able to move the DMD window back to the correct monitor and is working 100%. Weird that when I ALT TAB the DMD window was empty making me believe it was not working correctly. Now that the DMD window is back on the correct screen the DMD shows up with the running ROM in the ALT TAB window. Not even sure how scaling got turned on, tho there was just an nvidia driver update... It's always something small, but I know that we are an awesome community, and we all help eachother! Thanks again for the help!
