Here is a new solution for updating Loserman76 tables.

Huge graphic update from @RajoJoey !

He redraw the playfield, the plastics, the instructions cards, the certificate, and he add some missing screw !
Very very nice update, it's almost 4K now !

I just redraw the plastics in VPX to be in "3D" and try to enhanced the piece of metal a little bit.

Thank's again @RajoJoey for this update !

Can we get a standard download rather than the patching system?  I prefer to update in popper and allow the popper system to create a backup of the existing version.

this and other tables say 10.7 optional, but they don't work in 10.6 is that correct ? 10.7 tables will load but the playfield has no graphics.....Thanks

A patch/remix is how these types of communities should work when creating stuff that is derrived from others work.  Sorry if one more little step is too much work for one to do. However, the time it takes for you to run the patch is nothing compared to the time that it took for the original author to create the initial file, nor the time that it took the modder to update/modify the file.  A patch is perfect solution for this.  Why can't both the original author and the modder get credit for their works?  Patching isn't about your backup of the files; it's about keeping the original authors work in tact, them still getting download count credits, BeerMe opportunity, and keeping their original files relevant.

I must not fully understand the patching system, I thought I had read that you needed the exact copy of the prior file or results would not be as expected.  I also don't know if modifications to the file made on the local version would interfere with the update.

The way it currently works, you download a 1.1 version for example and you drag that fully function vpx into the update box in game manager of pinup popper and it asks you if you wish to overwrite the vpx then it asks you if you would like a backup made (in case the 1.1 is buggy or you change your mind and want to go back 1.0).   I don't see how that is robbing anyone from credit?  Obviously I don't get it fully given your response.

p.s. I looked again and I was correct in my memory of reading about the patch not working as intended if you have modified the table.  I don't know if that modification is as simple as modifying the POV values or if you change some of the script options but that's why I didn't want to risk updating files I have positively already modified.

"Notes:

If you use a patch on a table that it's not intended for, or a table that has already been modified, then applying the patch will have un-expected consequences."

Sorry, my mistake, I ticked the wrong box. It's a 10.7 file. I think Dazz corrected the information.

I understand the system it's not perfect but i'ts a good idea.

You need to create your own new version with the patch and the "original file".

In this case, the original file is linked (on the right, or in the description).

Maybe it's not THE original, but it's the file posted in VPU as the original. Every time you will have a link.

After that you will have a new file you can use with your system (not everybody have popper)

This patching system seems good, because for Loserman76, we started ehanced visual in addition of the DOF and SSF stuff.

Imagine your new, you want the table.

You need to download the original, a Loserman76 file, and my patch.

So everyone see it's a Loserman76 table.

Also, It's easier for the staff here, because I don't need their help to upload a loserman project. And we will enhanced a lot more tables, it's a lot of time for us each time i need them. With this system, the staff of VPU can keep the original file, because nobody will modified them.

Honestly for this subject (updating Loserman76 tables), it looks like the perfect option. I refuse to upload DOF enhancement on my name, because the table is not from me. It's why the staff need to do the uploading job each time.

We try this way, maybe it's not perfect but it's working fine if you use the links listed here ;)
