About This File

DMD Matrix Text & Video Generator is an easy to use tool for generating custom Dot Matrix Display text animations in authentic pinball style and exporting them directly to high-quality MP4 video. Real-time rendering with customizable colors, dot sizes, and scrolling speeds, at 1280x800, 1920x1080 and 1280x540 resolution.

3.1 a lot of new options added, including gif background - thanks @PEandS1Ws !!

NOTE: Keep generator browser tab active during video generation !!!

Released

I noticed some stuttering in the rendered videos in the previous version, depending on which monitor was used to render them. The new version should help fix this issue to some extent. Use the speed slider to find the smoothest-looking video, and make sure to set the Hz value to match the refresh rate of the monitor you're using to generate the video. It is better but not yet perfect..
