 These vector-based, collaborative backglass files are amazing.
 

(Now if only the backglass server natively handled SVG we could have backglass files that were future-proofed for the 8K displays  we'll all be playing on in 5 or 6 years, ha ha.)

Response from the author:

SVG BG's would have the issue of lighting.... but an SVG for a playfield would be another story
as for 8K, i'll give you my canned response.... good luck finding an 8k 32" BG TV, or as a matter of fact, an 8K 43" PF TV.... aint happenin' now or in the future.... also the same reason there is no need for PF images to be bigger than 4K, whats the point....  not pointing at you just my standard rant
