Strikes and Spares (Bally 1978)

This is a complete rebuild of Strikes and Spares (Bally 1978) using a new pf and plastics scans.

Over the years - many authors have "touched" this original base file at one time or another - impossible to track how many authors added to the original version - so I wish to offer thanks to any / all for starting the bare-bones of this classic table.

Download includes the nvram file if needed so you get the full 'chimes' sound and functions.

Also included are wheels, Topper Video, DMD / LCD videos, and special backglass.

Read the top of the script for additional options.

Excellent work, looks fantastic. Thanks for dual version installed both nude and regular in my cab. Looks so shinny and new, with beautiful lighting.  As always, thanks for your hard work. A must add.

HiRez00 did it again! Another pristine work of art by his hand. It's.....GREAT in every way! Every detail done in the finest way possible. This table plays so nice and smooth. And a nude mod with excellent custom artwork!! You rock, Nic. Well done and thank you so much for sharing this master piece!

Excellent stuff, HiRez00! 😉 Thanks a lot!

I love the dim effect on GI while flipper solenoid(s) is/are active. 💗

Very interesting table, on the border of E.M. and S.S. eras.

Only one regret (but perhaps this is easily fixable, I don't know): Desktop mode. For multiple players games, the current player number isn't indicated (missing lamps on backglass, behind "1 Up", "2 Up", "3 Up" and "4 Up"). The score display doesn't blink (ROM limitation at this epoch, probably).

Thank you, thank you, thank you! This table was not that fun to play until your update. Now I play it all the time and what a difference you have made....about as real as it gets, super!

Excellent IRL table reproduction with some nice flair and decent physics. Late 70s / early 80s games are breath of fresh air!

It's amazing how much the bowling sounds add. That strike sound makes me grin every time. I'm usually not a fan of the old school tables as the rules are thin, but there's something special about this one. Just went into my favs. Oh, and it's beautiful!

I've always loved this table and this version is so very nice and incredibly addictive to play. The sound effects are great with the subtle bowling alley sounds. And the star rollovers and lights on the table look so real!
