nappis
Sorry, forgot to mention. I'm Searching a real pin files. Is there any way to convert virtual pin files to real pin pin2dmd?
Content Provider Terranigma Posted April 12, 2023 Content Provider Share Posted April 12, 2023 No way to convert, you will need to use Pinball Browser. As you are talking about manipulating Stern Real Pin files, please head over to https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/acdc-display-and-modify-dot-matrix-images for the info. Thanks for the answears 😊 Most if not all of the Pinball browser color projects have been updated to a Pinball Browser repository I just checked and both the Pro and LE versions for Mustang are available. Unfortunately for you, you will need to have a paid version of Pinball bowser in order to apply the macro to the rom and generate your own file color project for a real machine or go to Pinside.com and beg someone that has the paid version of PB to generate the files for you. And after I can colorize it with pin2dmd editor? I have understood that pb doesn’t use so many colors?

You will need the dump to add to the editor to colour it. You can open the game in vpin without colour and play through and dump the frames with the inbuilt dumping tool. Then load that file to the editor and colour it.

Sharkeys project was built with PB not PIN2DMD. I was trying to tell you that you do not need to get a hold of Sharkey as you can generate your own files based on Sharkeys Project. PB only support 16 colors. If you want to build a 64 color project then bypass Sharkeys color project and start from a blank project using the 64 color version of PIN2DMD. this way you can run the default "un modded" rom in your machine.
