Content Provider Itchigo Posted October 1, 2013 Content Provider Posted October 1, 2013 Rukia and I will be there. Last year we hung with George Gomez and Gary Stern. Since I used to be an operator we had much to talk about. But we still knew many people from "the good old days".
Mameman Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 Can't make it but would have loved to have gone. Really want to see how WOOLY looks in person since I have a few hours of work on Scott's amazing creation. WWW.Xtremepinball.com
skewba98z28 Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 I'm tempted to head up there but I don't think i'm going to be able to. I've got way to much stuff to work on around the house. Plus my real job on top of that!
Administrators Dazz Posted October 1, 2013 Administrators Posted October 1, 2013 I'll be there, at the WOOLY booth. Any chance of WOOLY making an appearance at Texas Pinball Festival next March??
s1500 Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Any chance of WOOLY making an appearance at Texas Pinball Festival next March?? Dunno. You'll have to ask T-800.
DStruct Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 I hate that I won't be able to make it, but I'll definitely be at the Texas Pinball Festival. I can't wait!
Content Provider Rascal Posted October 7, 2013 Content Provider Posted October 7, 2013 Last time I went I didn't think it was worth the $40 to get my wife and I in for the day. A lot of the machines were turned off or in need of repair, being sold and moved out, and others were even set to pay. All the best machines were constantly taken, so you spent a lot of time waiting to play or circling around looking for an open machine. This year, it looks like they even hiked the admission to $25 a person. My wife got bored quickly and that didn't help much either. A pretty poor show for the city that used to be the pinball capital and still hosts the biggest pinball manufacturer. I guess you can say I was disappointed.
Administrators Dazz Posted October 7, 2013 Administrators Posted October 7, 2013 You guys really should come down to Texas in March... Texas Pinball Festival is really one of the best shows around. 400+ machines, we try to make sure that all machines are in working oeder and turned on for play.
DStruct Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 I'll be there with bells on! I just need to hurry and reserve a room.
